| “Southland Tales” tells the story of four people with intertwining cosmically-influenced lives living in a post-apocalyptic Southern Californian landscape writhe with political, economic, and social turmoil. We follow the lives of Boxer Santaros (Dwayne Johnson), an action star suffering from Amnesia, Krysta Now (Sarah Michelle Geller), a former porn-star, and twin brothers Roland and Ronald Taverner (Sean William Scott). They are governed by an expanse of the patriot act called US-IDENT that monitors the citizens every move. Additionally, an attempt to create a new fuel source brings about “Liquid Karma” whose use sends Earth into an uncontrolled spiral through space and time. One night the destiny of all mankind will be decided forever. |
